Hi, my name is

Ponpailin Homsombut (Kiki)

I explore the algorithmic limits of geometric structures

I am a master’s student at JAIST in Uehara Laboratory. My research lies at the intersection of computational geometry and complexity theory, focusing on tiling, symmetry, and undecidability in geometric systems.

About Me

Kiki Profile profile picture

I am a master’s student at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) working in the Uehara Laboratory. With a background in mathematics, my research focuses on theoretical computer science, particularly computational geometry and tiling problems.

I am interested in exploring how simple geometric constraints can lead to complex computational behavior. My work studies the relationship between geometry, algorithms, and computational complexity in structured puzzle-like systems.

Education

2020 - 2024
Bachelor of Science in Mathemathics
Chiang Mai University
GPA: 4.00 out of 4.00
Over four years, I’ve conducted research under Professor Supanut Chaidee’s guidance. During an internship at Tokyo University of Science with Professor Akiyama Jin, I focused on reversibility in non-space filling for my thesis. Eager to continue exploring mathematics and making meaningful contributions to the field.
